Managers feeling the pressure!

We have already seen one club crack under the pressure of their under performing manager with the sacking of Steve Brice from Sunderland yesterday against the sportsbook guardian betting tips – and as we go into another weekend of premiership football, there are plenty of other managers who will be feeling the pressure too!

Mick McCarthy is one of those manager who will be feeling the pressure and is one of your gambling guardian tips to be the next manager to be sacked. Mick McCarthy is no stranger to to pressure and being at the bottom of the premier league, but like Bruce, he has had time and money to build his own team and perhaps the owners will be wanting an improvement on last seasons survival on the last day!

As he goes to his old club on Sunday, he will probably hoping that they wont have a manager installed already, because it usually gives players a boost when they have a new manager to impress!

There have been quite a few Wolves fans who have been voicing their concerns and dissatisfaction, and like we saw with Steve Bruce, as soon as the fans get on the managers back, it is almost a cue for the board to act!

Another manager under huge pressure, is Andres Villas Boas who has had a terrible November! He will have felt much better after last weeks 3-0 win against Wolves which gave them some breathing space, but after losing to Liverpool again on Tuesday all eyes will be on him and his team again!

What AVB does have on his time is the fact that he hasn’t had the time to build his own team unlike Bruce and McCarthy! But Im still not convinced that Abramovich would bear that in mind too much if he see’s Chelsea slide further down the table!

He hasn’t been helped by the fact that Fernando Torres is having a complete nightmare at the moment, but there is no way he is going to build confidence without playing, either. It was surprising that he was dropped before the Liverpool game last week after he was looking like he was starting to build a bit of form.

Hopefully we wont be seeing any more management casualties after this weekend!
